About the Artist

I began my love of art at a very early age by learning the works of the Fine Masters while in grade school in Ponca City, Oklahoma. I started soon after with private lessons with various instructors through high school in Alva, Oklahoma. I continued on in Colorado with Commercial Art at the Colorado Institute of Art in Denver. After ending a career in nursing and raising my family, I once again embraced the world of art as Director and Instructor at the Graceful Arts Gallery and Studio in Alva, Oklahoma. This is where I promote other artists and teach techniques to new artists, all while continuing in my personal path in the arts. This has allowed my pieces to be included in worldwide collections.
